I was thinking that specific bike.

 

Forgive my ignorance: is that a custom built frame?

 

Yes I built the frame and swing arm. allso made the rear sets, pipe, even the stand its on. I posted wrong on the build date it should have been 1999 not 1990.
Anybody ever see this in the SE? I sold it to a WERA racer from Atlanta.

Nothing Special, but it's kinda fun to ride. Someone find me a RS or TZ250 rolling chassis and I'll make it much cooler. Probably wouldn't use a 450 motor, though.

 

If I'm lucky I learn something every day. Today I learned that a jackshaft makes it easy to run a W-I-D-E tire on an extended swinging arm.

Getting the R1 together myself. Buying the parts to put it back together. Once I have some pictures i am going to post the thread here. Nothing serious, but a fun project nonetheless.
