Re: RRR If memory serves me correctly Steve told me that Scott Russell said he didn't break Steve's record. My understanding is that one of the Harley crew got a faster time on a hand held stop watch he was using but it wasn't official. As mentioned Steve set the record in 97 on his Muzzy Raptor.
In December of 2001, Chuck Sorensen did a 1:12.07 at Roebling during a Frank Kinsey track day on one of our 2000 Aprilia RSV250's. It was a legitimate time as we recorded four other laps in the 12s. It probably was not official, but the official record when we arrived was Steve Grigg on a Muzzy Raptor at 1:12.75. Russell's Harley testing times were not official either, but in the 12s. This past January, Chuck did a 1:15.81 at Jennings GP which was timed by many people including Russell, the track day events manager. This record was official. Thanks, Rocky Stargel Team Stargel Aprilia
