I didnt take any disrespect/etc from you at all, sir....i was just having fun. I like to post pictures more than text, more creative and funny
Who makes the leather ones? You know the ones that sounds like someone is dragging a dresser drawer behind them.
Asphalt & Gas are leather but in my opinion they are really quite. I’ve used and sold them for probably 15 years.
if a klucky puck / woodcraft comes off, you are coming off the bike with it... http://kurveygirl.com/shop/product_...MIlo7lwfPg3gIVkeDICh1FVwpfEAQYAyABEgIAGfD_BwE
My wife found it interesting that Bautista had to use a screwdriver to take off his pucks during the changeover to Race 2
Late to the party, but I'll pile on... Klucky or A&G. The A&G's Velcro is almost TOO good, my arthritic fingers have a hard time removing them. They're both pricey, but worth it.
I had some leather ones, they were made by Wiz. http://www.wizkneesliders.com/WIZ-Leather-Knee-Sliders
Newb (uninformed) question. I’ve been on the track now for some 13 years, but have never used leather pucks. What’s the advantage??
I’ve been using Wiz, seem pretty wear resistant, seem to stick to the Velcro really tightly, but I really don’t drag my knee a huge amount
I had some leather A&Gs back in the day and my buddy always said they smelled like bacon when I was dragging a knee in front of him. I liked them but they were very grabby on some surfaces, especially new pavement.
I like the leather because when you put weight on them to save a front tuck they actually grip enough to stand the bike back up. Most of the plastic besides the Woodcraft IE Klucky (didn't WC buy klucky?) when weighted seem to slide faster and you fall on your ass.
