OK, I've been to the kawi forums but you have to wade thru so much stupid street stuff that it's not worth the effort.
I hope in this thread all 2-fiddy racers can give and receive recommendations for exhausts, jetting, tires, suspension, gearing, and any mods essential to being competitive in the new 'E' class.
Most helpful would be for the west coast folks that have experience in this class, to begin the discourse by telling what works and what works better.
I'll fire the first shot: who makes a bolt-on damper for the 08-09?

Morris a guy posted a pic last week, he took a stock zx10 damper and fit it on the 2 fiddy. i dont think anyone makes a bolt on deal yet

I'd never heard of Area P til I looked on the Kawi forums. Is that the most hp pipe out there? I've seen a full Yosh system for 4 something.

Us West Coast (AFM) folks aren't required to use dampers. How's that? :moon:

For the record, the vast majority of us left coast peeps have prior-gen bikes. These newfangled hi-zoot models are scurry.

edit: For 1988-2007, Rick Cramer #219 has a great list with part numbers and pics: http://www.rcramer.com/bikes/ex250/index.shtml

I put up a bunch of hi-res images tonight of a nekkid 2001. It might help if you guys are trying to figure out safety wiring, catch can placement and other stuff.

Note: Yes, I'm aware some of the safety wiring is crap. The pictures were taken in 2003. :p
