I searched titles- sorry if it's has a good thread already.

I also looked my my OEM online service manual- it just says to remove it - duh.

I'm switching one OEM tank for another- don't ask.

Tanks completely off the bike, I have all the screws out of the bottom of the assembly.
It somes most of the way out, then gets hung up on something- only tried a few times- didn't want to force it.
I"m using this exact same assembly on the other tank- it's still good, etc.

Is there some kind of trick? Hold my tongue just right?
    Help a brother out here

it is about as tight as could be, but it will wiggle out, no real trick.

Thanks, I think I'll be able to get it. Watched a YouTube about twisting it a bit while giggling- that's what she did

Yup, just a little twisting. It comes out tight, it goes in tight, no worries .

Got it and the mounting hardware changed over.
I also was able to get that foam and dust out of it with compressed air, and my shop vac.
