They look like this.... These spiders were everywhere in the tall grass, surrounding farm ponds we used to fish when growing up. Snakes don't bother me, i could do without spiders though.

The article didn't mention that the name "Joro" comes from the way they yell "Geronimo" just before parachuting.
The Joros aren't a big deal, same basic effect as the other big ones. Only real pain is hitting one of those huge ass webs in the woods or mowing.
