Install brakes on trailer

With a full sized truck, pulling that load, I probably would not bother with the brakes as long as the loaded trailer is under #3000. Without brakes, that is probably all it is rated for anyway and getting the rating changed after you add the brakes is virtually impossible in most states even if it has a #3500 axle.
