Dang, smart BBS users are not fun Hope things work well with the changes for you guys, I've seen how much of a pain in the ass dealing with Duc can be for a dealer.
We tried to sell it to Rahal but he low balled us and didn't want to do a non compete because he didn't view us as worthy competition. I'm not even sure if he was reading the emails or listening ever though. He kind of operates in his own airspace.
I may be wrong but I don't think you can sell a OEM franchise? Selling your customer lists could be done but I think the agreement is with the OE and their contracted dealer. And a business may try to get the same brand franchise nearby but usually there is mileage boundary limit involved?
I’ve read elsewhere on this forum that dealing with DNA is like getting traffic coned, so, it’s probably for the better, especially with 2017+ electrical issues.
If there was no jail time involved, there are about 4 people at DNA that I would personally love to throat punch.
Same here, plus I'm in Indy so it's a EZ pickup. Tommy was a hoot, did several track days with him out at Putnam.
I suppose if you had a good attorney, it would be knocked down to trespassing and necrophilia. You’d get probation.
