The wall is a very costly and very stupid idea, all it will do is waste more money and increase the size of government, something that today's so called conservatives want more of. The crazy old man (Ron Paul) told us all years ago how to fix this problem while saving billions. End the welfare/warfare state and the WoD, problem solved. I know that's to much for so called conservative, they want more government, more laws, more spending/debt, and more government control as long as all those things come from a Repub leader. The all is nothing more than a shrine to Hillary's good friend and the New York Dem people voted for to keep Hillary out. I'm still trying to figure out how one gun grabbing New York Dem is different/better then the other. Oh yeah he put an R in front of his name and his supporters gulped down the brawndo.

I would agree but the chance of ending the welfare state any time soon is almost zero. So while it is the most effective option it is all the least possible.

Oh and as an aside I think he also claimed we could go open border if we did that. Of course that neglects criminals and enemies of the American citizens. RP had some good ideas but frequently was WAY over the top.

    I wouldn’t.

It’s not the welfare state that’s got these throngs of unwashed masses arriving at our southern border. It’s a concerted effort funded by enemies of this country to destabilize and destroy from within using the weakness of the simpletons and the complicit media.

A wall will work. They’ve worked for centuries. Without it, well, you see what’s happening...

Wait you're saying it's not the 'free' shit they are all coming here for? You think a wall will stop people or drugs from crossing the border? All it will do if anything is make the drugs more expensive (which means more crime to get money for drugs), and the might even make the cost of human trafficking go up. I've yet to figure out how a wall stops people over staying their visa (where most illegals come from), planes, boats, tunnels (we already know the drug dealers and smugglers are good at digging tunnels), or ladders. What enemies, you mean the countries where we destabilize their government and cause turmoil cause it is in our governments best interest.

Plenty of criminals are here already with all the laws we have in this country most people on this board are probably criminals. Overall what other laws are needed besides don't harm others, don't take their stuff, and don't violate the rights of others? Any other laws are just control from an over sized government that thinks they know how you should live your life and spend your money better than you do. Why won't the welfare state go away, oh yeah because people get voting for socialist based on the R or D in front of their name.

I'm not seeing any viable solutions, just a rant.
You can't wish away problems or resort to
magical thinking so how about some actual solutions?

We need to let more people enter the US illegally in order to reduce and prevent all the current crimes already being committed. LOL.

Never mind the concept of a sovereign nation.

Never mind that more laws don’t need to be written just enforced, The laws are already in the books but are simply being ignored.

And they say smoking dope has no ill effects. :D

The hot topic on the local news tonight is how ICE legally chartered flights out of Oakland airport to send undocumented (illegal) immigrants out of country (since 2010 BTW). Everyone is up in arms about how this could happen in a "sanctuary city".

How the f@ck did we get so upside-down on what is legal and what is illegal?!?!?

No viable solution? Yet more spending/debt, more government, and less liberty is a solution.
