Opened up my 2005 SV650 and need some assistance determining what rings to buy for these pistons.
Any suggestions how I determine what rings to get for these bad boys?

The engine has had some significant work done to it...

    TIA

Thank you! I've emailed Wiseco, hopefully they can tell me what rings I need.

Should be stock bore. I would really like to identify the pistons specifically before buying but wiseco hasn’t replied to voice mail or emails.
Thank you for the help, much appreciated!

It is definitely Wiseco (W stamp on it). Part number shows stock bore (81mm).
Pretty sure rings in the link I posted are what you need.
Your piston has XC mark so XC rings is what you need. It is thickness of rings for each grove. You can double check by measuring groves in piston and comparing to ring thickness.
This page, scroll way down to rings, has ring thickness listed.

If it’s an SV and Zoran tells you, that’s it. Beeb delivers, now go do! :flag:

I don’t know much about rebuilding engines but I know enough to know of Zoran and trust his advice. :)

    Again, very, very appreciated

Get a spec for ring end gap, too.

Just send it out to him and be done with it.

I’m still on my super bike engine he built for me in 2014 and it’s still as fast as when it was originally built.
