like GB racing case guards or R&G...

i wanna race something different this year (maybe?) but i can't find any case guards for said bike... what are you guys doing for bikes that have minimal aftermarket support in this area? is there like a homemade trick that one can do that will be legal?

    Thanks

What bike would that be? Vespa?

You can lay up your own fiberglass/CF guard, typically they're only good for one crash but they do work.

ducati hyper 950.. i've found right side guards for the 939 which should work, but nothing for the left.

Twins, particularly v-twins are often exempt from needing case guards.

Look for thinker case covers for the engine and don't worry about the bike model. Should be something out there and they tend to work better than the big bar style.

Narrower and less likely to rub through is my guess but not sure who even requires them at this point on any brand/model. We do not on the newer bikes.

I don't race or run USBA. And no offense to them but I have never read their rulebook.

So yes really. I did not at the time of my post know of anyone requiring them. Now I do.

why don't you find a somewhat similar case guard, take it to a local machine shop and they can make an adapter for you.

Bolt the adapter to the bike and the semi close case guard to the adapter.

i like this idea.. would it not space the case guard away from the engine casing though making it more likely to puncture rather than grind down?

Im curious where the "fork brace" suggestion comes from as a suggested item?

    Are the covers magnesium?
