Not me man. I dug a nice skateboard out of a dumpster while in Austin when I saw the cops throw it in there. How hard could this be, I used to do it I used to listen to JFA? I think I cracked some ribs, my neck hurts and my ass has a second crack in it. F@ck that shit!
I've been seeing those flying by downtown quite often latetly. They are pretty cool to watch ! It kind of gave me a little future shock (that moment when you realize it's looking more and more like the future)
I rode mine 13 miles after I started with 75% battery. I think they say 16 mile range. If you went slower I am sure it would go farther. I don't know about weights. It seems very rugged. I'm 6'2" and about 170 #. You have to commit to it. I roll it forward with one foot on it and then jump on with the other foot. I can do it in one motion without a stutter step. I think the best training I had for it was riding a rip stick. It's kinda the same in that you have to commit to it and get it moving. Stopping is actually harder than starting. I have only really busted my ass once and that was stopping. It's fun to ride around just because of all the crazy looks you get.
