Into the local hometown paper, that is. no, not the "who's been arrested" part. How they got my name i have no idea, but they contacted me a few weeks ago. And yes, i asked them to put in WERA as the race org., but as with any "interview", they tend to leave out stuff, as well as twist things around. Still, pretty cool after almost 15 years into this sport, i get at least an honorable mention here locally. http://www.newtoncitizen.com/news/2013/dec/28/conyers-resident-delves-into-high-performance/
Nice article. Interesting that they didn't mention WERA, but they did mention you teaching for Ed Bargy Racing School and Exalt Motor Sports.
yea, and we talked more about that (racing) than anything else. I think the angle he was going for was more of the teaching/coaching aspect. I saw the mispelling, just sent the guy an email asking if he could correct it (at least on the online paper). He left out several things i'd have rather him put in there (mountains as a racetrack when in the same sentence i explained to him how stupid it was to ride like that on any public road and wanted to make sure i steer more riders to the track).
