How did this happen?

This morning when I went outside all of the windows on
my Civic were open as well as the moon roof.
They weren't like that when I went to bed last night.
The car hasn't moved for several days so nobody was in it.
Luckily there was no precipitation last night, but I need to
know how to prevent this from happening again.
Anybody got any ideas?

 

You don't take Ambien for sleep, do you?

 

I believe if you hold the remote unlock button too long on the key fob it opens all the windows. Its a feature, not a defect.

 

Yep...don't let the cat sleep on your car remote. Holding the lock button should cause all that to reverse.

That's not a feature I'm thrilled with.

 

It's nice on a screaming hot day... You can drop the windows while walking to the car....

 

Why do I have an image of Lurch driving down the road with his head sticking up out of the sunroof?

 

You may be able to disable it under the car or comfort settings in whatever setup menus the car has.

He also got the car for free. So he’s upset about a feature on a brand new free car. The epitome of 1st world problems.

 

...or you could simply make sure you don't hold the button too long.

 

That's my first complaint about it, it's a great little car.
Loads of fun to drive. I haven't had a fun car in a long time.

 

2nd complaint. You hate the transmission too.

 

Oh so now it's a "little" car?

I don't hate it, it's just hard to get used to it not shifting.
