What is the story on these? Are they worth anything more than scrap price?

Define good. Rebuilt, dynoed, and ready to install or one that spins free even though it is covered in barn dust. I have a chance to pick up 5 or so but i am trying to decide if it is or will be worth the hassle.

It seems like the case covers would be worth something if they are in good shape. I imagine you could probably part them out until you get to rust, but it probably depends on the buy-in point if the investment is worth your time to part them out.

Good engines, last forever. Gotta be worth something parting them out on ebay

Those are cafe purists gold. They turn their nose at the newer dohc versions.
