I'm still in shock over last night. I feel a little broken about it. Like how can the story go on.

You would think a person would never tire of endless f&^$%$#% and fighting as their means of entertainment, but thats exactly where im at. All of these series the last few years, "every pay channel has one it seems" is nothing but mindless sex and violence. They could have 2 minute episodes where it opens with some chick screwing the help, then either he, or she gets their head hacked off, the end. About the only series im watching anymore is Magic City, that has civilized sex and violence.

Ike Evans is my kind of badass

 

The books are much more graphic. Theon Greyjoy truly suffers in the book.

 

I was talking about this with someone the other day... The thing that is interesting in this series and in the books is the recurring theme of "that which is important today is not necessarily important tomorrow".

In the both books and series, kings will rise and fall. Characters that you think are good, are not necessarily good, and those that are bad, are not necessarily bad. Main characters will come and go, as is the way of things. There's no one main character and no family who is the hero...

In a season or two, the Starks will be just a memory mostly...

I was actually a little disappointed. For some reason, I had built up something much bigger in my mind about that last scene. It was graphic, but I expected it to be a much bigger (like more people and much more public than it was).

 

Glad everyone is as shocked as I was!

See what ole Ned Stark got for being the good guy to a fault? His family can't suffer more than they have at this point and most of the family is dead.

What was up with the bastard son ditching the broad after she helped him?

The violence didn't bother me too much until they killed the dire wolf. That broke my freakin heart.
