    Need information stat.

Found the bird in the driveway and there are no trees nearby nor any obvious nest. It looks like he may have been brought here by a predator??

We've already gotten the little thing a makeshift nest and given him a blanket. We've called a few wildlife rehabbers and none of them can or will take this on.

    What can we do next?

    Paging @SpeedyE

This past winter I found an endangered species of turtle during a rare Texas cold spell & he got me in touch with a local rehabber that was authorized to care for that specific species.

    No feathers, eyes closed.

Being that there was no obvious origin for it, we've got the thing in a shoe box inside the house for the evening. We're going to put it on the second floor porch first thing in the morning.

Look at the bottom section of the website I listed for food options if nobody's willing to take care of it: http://www.birdwatching-bliss.com/baby-bird.html.

You'll probably hear it chirping all night asking for food. I've hand raised a couple of parrots from days old and they require a lot of attention and feeding. Hopefully you'll find someone though.
