Can anyone enlighten me on if the 11+ GSXR600 exhausts will fit an 09 GSXR600? Of course, they are different Akrapovic part numbers, but so are the 06-07 R6 and 08+ R6 exhausts, and they are all interchangeable. I don't have an 11+ GSXR in the shop to measure. Any help is appreciated.
Negative, the layout changed in 2011. 2006-2010 are all interchangeable with each other, but not beyond that. If they were a lot of 2011 and up owners would be happy to swap 06-07 OEM header on that didn't have the CAT welded onto the end of it.

An 06-10 full system will not fit an 11 or later is what I was getting at (at the very least the 06-10 headers don't match up). Not cutting and chopping and using mid-pipes to mount old gen slip-ons. I just assumed Mike was referring to grafting a full system from one to the other.
Right on. I could just take my lazy ass to the garage and see firsthand what fits, since I have an 07 600, 08 600, 11 750 and 12 600.
Yup yup. The '11 motor is tilted at a different angle in the frame from the previous years. I'm not entirely sure if the manifolds might line up, but since the motor sits at a different angle I think it screws up where the collector eventually sits.
No mike they won't fit the engine are angled different. the cylinder heads are the same. the Engine also all bolt up but the exhaust on the 06-09 will not work with the 11-13.
Update: I put a 2011 Ak exhaust on an 09 earlier this week. Fits fine. Only issue was having to flip one of the bolts on the dogbone for clearance issues. It wasn't hitting, nor do I think it would, but it was a bit closer than I'd like and flipping it gave more than enough room. Headers, collectors and everything fit fine and there is no issue with clearance or fitment with Armor Bodies bodywork.

I have a 2007 GSXR 600 with a 2011 750 motor in it. We used the headers off of the 07 600 motor on it with a Leo Vince slip on.
