My friend only rode his once at cmp. But is review of it was it has more power then a 100, the 12 wheels are a lot better then a 100. And the suspension is way better even stock then a 100. BUT its a heavy pig and feels like it. And way wider also. The weight is what evens things out a lot with a 100. A ttr or drz set up for mini racing would spank it, at least in stock form.
You guys looking for Groms have not been looking in the right place. I had to dealer transfer the first three we got in to another dealer because they weren't selling here.
Just buy about 10 of them and bring them to all the WERA races and you will have your instant spec Broome class.
Maybe i can start up my own Grom rental business. Spec Grom class, the bikes are rented from me, 20% of the rental goes to WERA. Boom.
Theres turbo kits for them...almost as much as tje bike costs...lol. takegawa makes some nadass sooperbike engines for them. Again...more than msrp
I got 2 of then, they are fun as hell, is a bit heavy compare to the 100. my wife can get hers to 60mph. throttle response is real good compare to the 100s, you can get all kinds of stuff for this things oh it has 4 gear.
Yes, it's a repost, but it's so much fun to watch, AND it was at the joint CMRA/WERA endurance weekend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me5wjKsUsSY&noredirect=1
I would race that class (if it was created) in a New York minute! Where do I sign up? Oh, and don't tell my wife her Grom is missing!
