Getting Brembo supersport rotors. Also getting the light weight tank. But!!!! Has anyone ever tried the BDK engineering stator? I am looking in to one from superbike unlimited.

I ran one for 3 years. with a lightened starter sprag, my rotating weight was only 775 grams Seemed to charge my 2ND gen fine. It's not MA legal so it's in a box right now.

Should have bought T-drives or Braketech Axis if your end game was light.

You can turn the flywheel down and you can lighten the starter sprag.

I’ve got a BDK on my 06 and it’s nice but I’m not worried about MA rules, just motor longevity.

Does MA allow wiring harness modifications? I’ve stripped several harnesses down to bare minimum for the 2nd gen bikes.

You're building this for MA right? In the 2018 rulebook Al / Ti axles were illegal.

Though if you want some Al axles, Ryan is making them www.707racing.com

It's possible I'm reading this wrong, but it does seem fairly straight forward from the "Wheels" section.

2.8.10.6 h) Bearings, seals, and axles may be altered or replaced from those fitted to the homologated motorcycle. The use of titanium and light alloys is forbidden for wheel spindles (axles).

338-340 is about as light it gets for a 2nd gen with MA rules.
