Since I hope to return to the track for the GNF and it's being held at Barber instead of Rd A, I have a few questions. Any idea of gate fees, power hook up costs for 4 days, and rv camping costs for 4 days? I assume Thursday is a practice day, Friday Vintage and practice, Saturday Sportsman, and Sunday Nationals. Is this correct? Will Barber open the gates on Wednesday and then be open and selling wristbands 24 hours a day or will it be the typical get there before 10pm Barber stuff? Thanks.
When Lora and i were there a couple of months ago it it ended up being around $100 or so for gate fees, power fees and camping fees and that was just for Friday night and then Saturday and Sunday. I am not sure about the breakdown of the individual costs, but it added up to a good bit. It was enough that i thought "part of the reason for getting the TH was to save on hotel fees and we still end up paying this ridiculous shit". I also plan on getting there as soon as the gates open, whether that is Wed. or Thursday or whenever it is. I can't imagine how much the fees will be for 5 days of gate fees, camping and power at Barber. Unless they offer some kind of multi-day discount, it could end up being $200+ or some shit just for us to get in the gate. As far as getting in, unless something changes you will need to originally get there before 10pm to buy a wristband. Once you have a wristband, you can come and go 24/7. But as previously mentioned, make sure you bring your laptop incase you get there late and cant get it.
I know what the SOP for Barber is. I thought my carefully crafted questions made that apparent. I asking if there will be any changes to make things a little easier for the participants since this will be the GNF.
Stopped charging per squarde tp. People were skipping out. Now it's $7.99 per min of stall usage and $.99 per gallon of water used.
Farting or loud belching in the paddock will result in immediate ejection from the facility. Eat with caution.
