The price, currently, is not a supply issue, it is a perceived supply issue. The run up is in futures driven by the commodities traders. The cost of the oil in the gas station tank didn't just magically jump overnight. The stations are charging for what they project the next load will cost...speculation.

 

It doesn’t matter. Energy is a global issue. Keep basking in your ignorance. I’m just going to keep arguing with myself.

Just paid 5.10 for non e, cheap ethanol 87 was 4.50.

 

The Sequoia is sitting on "E"... I've got 10 gallons in cans I paid $3.17 for right before the SHTF. I'll be good if it warms up a bit- the Xmax gets about 65 MPG and the GSXS about 45.

I gotta get gas on the way to the gym, and I always run E0 fuel (luckily there is a no-ethanol station like 1/2mi from the house.

I’ll see what it’s going for now.
