I like the fairing stay. It looks nice and simple.

FWIW (I'm no tuning guru), but I guarantee that those screens over the carbs are a major flow restriction.

Tgold....im on the fence about that as of right now. They have a stage 3 jet kit in them with a stock motor. The jets are ginormous, so Im going to play with it and see. I have different screen material for options

Do you need a 400 airbox?

400's really don't like those about filters. The best it's going to run is using the stock airbox.

If they were flatslides, I'd ditch the screens. I haven't see a carb yet that likes those rigs.

I vote stock airbox with K&N or Unifilter.

When I still had a good 400 engine I tried tuning with different pods and lengths of intake tract tubes. In the end,a stock airbox with new carb boots and a K&N filter had it smooooooth.........well,until I blew it up:(

Lots of fizzer experience ... I agree with others above. Stock motor, stock airbox, K&N filter. Not so stock motor, flat sildes, velocity stacks or pods

Was not planning on running the screens....looked very restrictive. Pulled them off and this thing revs to the moon.

I've got a stock motor with k&n pod filters, stage3 dyno jet and it runs great! Have no problems with it.
    What v-stacks are those?
