Last October (one week before the GNF!) Beth and I found out we were having our first baby. I was riding that wave all week and after winning a couple of races, didn't think I could get a bigger high...WRONG!:)

Last Thursday at Beth's 36 week appointment, the Doctor found that she was leaking a bit of amniotic fluid and had to be induced.

At 1:24am on May 11 Aiden Bradley Duncan popped into the world at a whopping 4lbs 8oz!:D His blood sugar wasn't stable so he was admitted to the "special care" nursery. After being slow to feed we were told he would be staying for a few days until he got the hang of it better. As tough as it was to see him with IV's and tubes in him we were totally grateful that he was doing so well otherwise.

Mom had to be readmitted overnight Tuesday for blood pressure issues which was a scare too........The great part is they are both doing well and were able to come home yesterday!!

WOW!! It is truly an amazing feeling....Here he is taking his car seat test before the ride home.(required of the special care patients and preemies to monitor oxygen levels etc while sitting upright)

    Congrats... :) :) He's a tiny tiger.

We had to have our son in special care nursery too, glucose levels too low.

No too bad when you look at the other babies in the nursery, and realize your guy is pretty healthy. Hope mom and son are well.

Boy are you in trouble. Hayden is my May child and Hunter was born early. Both LOVE racing. To have both in one combination, :D you are in for a treat.

Congrats on the baby boy. 8 years and counting to mini racing.

    Well congrats Brad & Family!

36 weeks isn't terribly premature mine was born at 32 weeks and now she eats all the ice cream before I get to it. So don't let that "preemie" thing weigh on your mind.
