I told Darren a while back that Obama care was just a stepping stone for single payer. If it failed - they would push harder for a system that "worked better". If it succeeded, they would push for a "better system".

The governor here already wants to expand MNSure to everyone.

    The road is bleak.
I surmise, we will be single payer or government insured sooner than we wanted.

I think this push for "repeal and replace." Was a dog and pony show. They would have tried to cram in just a repeal bill if it wasn't.

They can provide all the free insurance they want, it isn't any good if you can't find a doctor to take you as a patient.
Having insurance that reimburses less than the cost of seeing you doesn't increase your odds.

Spot on...that's exactly what is happening and it was the establishment's plan even before Obama care was born. Sure, there are a few dissenters but they are the minority.

There's no way to just repeal Obamacare.

To show their voting base that they are "trying". It is not, nor was it ever going to be repealed. The plan was to let it collapse, then go to single payer. Both the crips and bloods had the same fucking plan from the beginning. We have been lied to, even the architect of obamacare said on video that it was designed to fail and they counted on the stupidity of the American people to support it so they could get it passed.

People, regulations are the enemy of free market. Regulations have the appearance of protecting the consumer and they don't. The big corporations lobby for regulations to ensure a monopoly and crush their competition, especially smaller corporations. If you want to fix the healthcare/healthcare insurance mess, then repeal obamacare and deregulate everything. Anything short of that and we are still stuck with a mess.

No. Companies never determine strategy by considering tax implications. They will accept and pay. Plus, Brown will tax they to leave.

Just increase the income taxes on those in Hollywood. That will do it.

They will move to another state and demand that others stay.

They are moving to Georgia, have seen where they are building studios and such in several locations. Anyone else caught some of the "casting calls" running on some local news shows?

True dat. They have recently done some filming in Augusta and Savannah is a popular location. Some of the elite have also "discovered" Tybee.
