Funniest crap you've ever been told as a moderator

I know some ( a lot) of you are or have been a moderator on some BBS or other. What are the funniest (to you) thing or things you've been told by a member?

I'll start.
That they were going to sue me if I didn't unban them, undelete their post or whatever. I must have been threatened with a lawsuit at least 10 times.
That they were going to kick my ass. I think this out numbers the lawsuits.
That they should be allowed to do what they wanted because of the number of people they bring here because of their ads in WERA's free classifieds.
That they should be paid because of the number of people they bring here because of their ads!!!!

 

That is some fairly delusional stuff there.

 

Yeah, or that they are from a Gooberment agency and send you an email from their yahoo account.

 

Did any of them make fun of your height?

Nah, but one or two have called me a bundle of sticks or, strangely, that I suck on roosters. Weird.

I've had the "Freedom of Speech" provisions of the Charter of Human Rights thrown at me. I thought that was amusing.

 

Don't you love that? "You're fat" --- no shit really???

I usually give them the confused dog look and respond with something like, "that's all you got?"



EDIT - and of course doing it on the BBS is whole new dimension of stupid, like making fun of Dave's height.

 

You know what, maybe they did make fun of my "stature?" I'm starting to think the "little" in "you little c@ck sucker" might be an allusion to my being mini bite sized pedrosaness.

Now I'm mentally hurt.

 

There is a clown who mostly posts in the dungeon who threatened about a decade ago to reveal to the world how I got a "job" as a moderator. Apparently, he thought he had come across some kind of scoop that nobody knew about. Let's just say he hasn't addressed me since. I had forgotten about him for years until I recently cleaned up my inbox. That was funny to read again.

By the way, Mongo, still waiting on my first paycheck.
