Hey now - mom n pop stops are the best.
They have cheaper diesel and you’re supporting a local business and you never have to worry about getting your front end getting cleaned out by a swift truck.

I never fuel at the big boys ..... #morethan15years:D

I've hit a few of them and they're definitely better for some things - especially a lack of company trucks :D

I'll look into it. Not using any diesel right now as the rv is still down so lots of time on gas buddy of late.

Well, the Iowa 80 Group and Little America Travel Centers are doing their best to maintain standards above the rest. For sure, the others have went to hell, in the name of profit.

I remember when Petro was a place I looked forward to stopping in and Iron Skillets used to be great places to eat. I miss the open road, but, no longer want to live a life in today’s truckstops. Now, I’m home every night. However, I eat my lunch in my truck, in a Pilot parking lot. What I watch in that place everyday is shameful and embarrassing.

Sadly I think it's more the workforce than the people serving them :(

Super Trucker’s Freightshaker is so badass it needs two spots.

All kinds of things wrong with this one. Definitely not a professional driver or flatbedder.

Dude got on I-75, one exit south. Not doing so well with it, covering only 1mi of interstate. Haha.

A trucker who has been out on the road for two months stops at a brothel outside Atlanta.

He walks directly up to the Madam, drops down $500, and says, "I want your ugliest woman and a grilled cheese sandwich!"

The Madam is astonished. "But sir, for that kind of money you could have one of my prettiest ladies and a three-course meal."

The trucker replies, "Listen darlin', I'm not horny - I'm just homesick."
