Been after a 59 Wagon since I ever saw one. getting rare as hens teeth especially complete as a lot of them got scrapped or robbed for Impala/El Camino parts. gonna keep her patina outside and completely redo everything inside and under the hood.
Dayuuuum…….an aunt of mine had one like that but blue. She named it Frank. Was her house cleaning vehicle and had her supplies in the back. She had it til 1999/2000. Was a cool setup for her and got her lots of business. I never knew what make or model it was, I’m not that into old cars, but that’s it. That’s badass
Interior is roaches. Everything is there but entire interior is nasty. Gonna redo the interior in the original green. and yes probably 5.3 for a nice reliable ride. No need for Hp as it’s just a cruiser
$7500 90% of the glass is there too. not that I’m one to sell, but these bring crazy stupid money when they are nice.
Helluva find! Neighbor across the street growing up had a '60, said he was going to keep it until it died. Finally gave it away, still running.
well considering the engine that originally powered this boat, a 5.3 is plenty of additional. Not to mention I’m not wanting to brace the old X frame.
Parts will be a chore to obtain, but worth it imo. Pullout late model 5.3 and trans would be ideal. Any patch panels needed, you can make yourself with a little time and patience. Oh and these guys to protect the exterior. https://sweetpatina.com/
found a guy the specializes on 59-60 models so there should be plenty out there. It’s got lost of its trim which is good because I saw a guy who has a complete set for like $6000!!!! it’s not a rotisserie, it’s just gonna be cool
Dang pretty already! What a great find. A long roof something is on the list as soon as the '57 is finished
