Well, you could always keep a running tally of the number of mistake calls the refs will make during the series. It is beyond belief that they don't use replay. And they wonder why interest in baseball is falling off.

I'm going for the Rangers. I like the Cinderella story. Not to mention how homely the Rangers Manager be looking when he's intervied (looks like one of my uncles). I like the Giants too. Hope for a good series. I'll catch Sportscenter for who wins... or I'll watch if the series becomes tied up.

While I recognize that an elegant game that requires poise, strength, speed, timing, and patience might not be for everybody (and that it was unlikely that a baseball thread would not bring out the haters), I do find it amusing after yesterdays fine show of NFL officiating that the MLB umps are getting cacked on. Some of us like baseball... maybe some of us even love it. And really, this thread is about some fun rivalry and AFF donations. So jump on. If my team loses, the AFF wins. How cool is that? If my team wins, I got Mongo giving a c-note to AFF, and in return I will bring him my best homebrewed version of a whatever that industrio-lager stuff that he prizes -- oh yeah, Yuengling! --to the nationals in Miller next year just for taking this on.
