Meh, that's not why it didn't happen. It's two pronged. First, they're all snakes swimming in same swamp, second, it sets a horrible precedent (which the Dems don't seem to worry about) of the party in power using their position to go after their political adversaries. Remember that video of Saddam Hussain going into the Iraqi Parliment shortly after taking power and escorting out many members of the opposition party? Those guys were taken out and either imprisoned or executed. That's where we're headed with actions the D party is partaking in right now.
