WHAM & George Michael is pretty high up there for me...

 

Unfortunately I was subjected to my Mom's radio during my early years - listening to pop and soft rock in the early 80's. I don't listen to it a lot, but they do come up on shuffle every so often. Sort of a guilty pleasure.

I'm just gonna come right out and say it. I love Bon Jovi. And what's even worse is that I have my 12 year old kid listening to them too. That's right. We know all the words and sing along on the way to and from the race track.

 

Saw 'em live 2 or 3 times.

I'd say Cheap Trick but they rock your ugly face off and I'm not embarrassed one bit about it. I'm huge Erasure fan but they're 90s aren't they?

Really, none that I'm shy about.

I am starting to "get" bands from the 80s and 90s that I HATED back then. Bruce Springsteen, Journey, some others that I can't remember right now. Still kind of hate zeppelin but I'm starting to "get it."

 

I saw them in concert once. They were just meh. I expected so much more after listening to Live at Budakon.

That's some ghey a$$ sh!t Dave! I think of them as 80's FWIW.

 

ABC, Split Endz, Thompson Twins

Totally NOT embarrassed to still be listening to Asia, which is on heavy rotation.

 

J Geils, Huey Lewis, Def Leopard, the list goes on and on. I think there is a direct connection with 99.9% of all music for the last 15 years sucking badly. Makes the bands I listen to sound pretty good.

 

That statement can be applied to about 80% of the stuff that clown types!

I only saw them once I think and it was at a smaller place (maybe 5000 people) and I really dug them. But I'm a total mark for them.
