The ideal solution for eliminating sloppy or notchy gearboxes – the Factory Pro Shift Star Kit significantly improves your bike’s shifting performance with relatively little work. By replacing your bike’s OEM shift star, which where once notorious for coming loose on Suzukis, you reduce the likelihood of bent shift forks and lower lap times at the track. Factory Pro Shift Star kits are also excellent for street duty as they provide a more-positive shift feel, reduce shifting effort and ultimately result in fewer missed shifts – all of which extends the life of your Suzuki’s transmission. Available for most GSXRs. Call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 to have the appropriate shift star kit sent your way. If you prefer email, send those to WERA at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM along with the model and year of your bike for accurate availability. While it doesn’t look like much, this patented design will improve your bike’s transmission so much so that it’s part of many OEM “Kit Transmission” packages.
So if one was to ask how to install these, where could you get info? Or should I say if I have to ask how to install these I shouldn't?
Here's my condition: I feel like I'm having too much "give" when I push down on the gear lever. It needs a bit too much stomp than what I prefer. I want it to be more direct (quicker). Would the "Shift Star Kit" be the answer? Pricing for a K7 GSXR 1000 to Thailand (20150)?
FP shift star price 07 GSX-R 750, btw, do you sell the FP velocity stacks for same bike? thanks.axlD.
I used this in my 2000, made a big difference. You stated the Factory started using this design in stock form. What year did they start. Would it be worth putting one in a 06 600?
You have these for a 07 600rr?? Also, would this interfere with a quickshifter if you have one or the tuning of one?
I think you will have to reduce the kill time, I just installed one and it really tightened up the feel to the lever, and according to factory pros' website you should adjust.
