I mentioned something like this to my son just the other day and he told me that a 400cc sportbike/racer would be "ghey". I could only counter by saying, "But it would be 150cc less ghey than a 250 Ninja".
Heavy. Expensive. Kinda cool though. For that much money you would think it would be higher-spec. At least it's FI.
not a supersport. I've said for 7 years the right sizes for modern tech are 500c and 750cc. 1k is stupid much for every mortal application. Let the MotoGP and WSB guys ride them and we can gaga over it. R5 at 100HP and 330 race prepped lbs and R7 at 140HP and 370 lbs. yumm.....
I was hoping for the 250 with a bigger engine, not a 650 with a smaller What I'd REALLY like to have is one of these. It's an rvf400 (vfr400) with modern bodywork.
If somebody built an R4 or RVF400 with today's technolgy I'd buy as many as the wife would tolerate before kicking me out.
Dustin the original reports last year stated this was to be an inline 4 as soon as I saw the offical release in January and saw it was a parallel twin I was disappointed. MSRP is too high as previously stated.
I like it, but my $2000 EX600 will prolly give it a run. Like the undr belly exhaust and FI. Agree that it's about a grand too much in price.
