On the 2015+ R1, why are there 14 discrete etv basemaps per pwr mode? Is the selection of basemap more involved than one map, per gear, per mode?
It's been a couple of years since I worked on that version, but I believe there is an index pointer map that selects o-13 maps for cylinder and gear. They are different timing considerations for different fuels and such. I recommend that you contact FT and verify this. They can tell you which map might be best for your bike setup.
Rick is correct. You can select which map you want in the pointer map. It's up to you if you want to use more than one of them or adjust any of them. They have proven to be very useful to us though.
