Dumping more federal money in the education system and adding more federal control will just flush it further down the toilet. The federal government needs to get the fuck out of the education system, or it will never get better.

But it's not. Unregulated immigration costs billions in law enforcement expenses, education expenses, healthcare, and taxes. It also has potentially disastrous effects on the voting pool, bringing enough guaranteed D voters into the pool to sway almost any election and literally change the face of our nation. By stemming the tide, Trump is solving dozens of other problems at the root cause instead of working top down and wasting billions doing nothing.

You're probably right on education. Books could be written on what is wrong with our educational system.

Doesn't really matter. By 2044 whites will be a minority in the US. They sway only grows in power each year. And that date is 25 years away. Think about how quick the last 25 years of your life have gone by. The Republican Party won't be around much longer.

I’m not sure I agree with that. If there is meaningful immigration reform, there’s no reason to think most immigrants that truly want a better life for themselves wouldn’t vote R.

But first you have to stop the illegal rush in order to incentivize them to go a legal route.

What I don't know is if immigration comes into play in the racial shift or it occurs due to reproduction rates of whites vs non-white. I'll research it a bit. But it is going to happen. I would venture to say that a decent percentage of it is going to come from mixed marriages too.

This coming from a supporter of all things broken with the DNC is comical.

With that said, because of the non-stop FRAUD Democrats have been engaging in I would not be completely shocked if it did go down that way. The only thing you left out, is it'll probably also be the fall of the USA.

It might be. It also could be a re-birth.

I'm not picking sides, simply stating some pretty easily deducted facts. The young generation leans to the D side. The one after that even more. The Republican Party will be irrelevant within the next generation and a half.

The interesting question is what will take their place?

If you think us heading towards socialism is a "re-birth", you haven't been paying attention to other parts of the world.

I don't see socialism mentioned anywhere in my comment. That's your idea.

The young generation always leans left, then they grow up. What’s the saying? If you’re not a D when you’re young you have no heart, if you’re not an R when you grow up you have no brain.

I don't know, I think this group might be different. But, as has been seen here...I've been wrong before:D

oh please... we dont need politicians with no marketable skills fixing anything.
For profit education can be good & bad... mostly bad when easy gov't cash is granted which is the problem I have with it. You want to pay Concorde or U of Phoenix $50,000 for an associates...have at it. I would guess the market & accredidation forces... would force more realistic pricing.

Government involvement in education is one of the very worst things that's happened to our generation. I'd say top three, along with HCA and mumble rap. It's completely destroyed the cost/benefit ratio of getting a college degree, and burdened millions with crushing student loan debt. Pay $10k to get a $40k/yr job, great idea. Pay $50k to get that job (or one that pays even less because the candidate pool is so large), you're nuts!.

I was actually referring to grades 1-12 in my original comment.

I am asking this to learn something so don't flame me just yet...how is the government involved in college other than some loan programs?

Loans, grants, social engineering, the list is long. Longer still when you add in the lottery crap.

Govt is backing the loans. Buy a million dollar home with a mortgage and you can walk away from it. Try that with a govt backed school loan...lol. Also for profit schools use closers to squeeze folks into signing. Usually folks that can least afford it.
