Rick, it was mutual respect. I still remember going with him as a kid, when Gary and Jack were there, and Gary's then wife worked at the Suzuki (?) shop nearby. Ran into her about 15 years ago, when I was referred to her now husband for some machine work. Another Rick, IIRC. Both very good people.

Also … for those that don't know - Rick (RMRacing) used to be "the guy" that covered racing via what I call the Internet Ticker Tape process. Ever see these in an old movie?



Well, Rick used to give us live updates in a similar fashion for AMA rounds. We'd (100's of people) would meet up in a chat room, and Rick would feed us info, a sentence at a time. It was awesome stuff for that era. Rick was a man ahead of his time. :--)
