Do all turtles bite?

    I have four baby box turtles. I hatched them from eggs about two and a half years ago. They’re pretty cool. They come out for food whenever I walk by, but always hiss at me when I put my hand in their cage to put the food in. I’m sure they would bite me if given the chance.

    edit: for quick reference I estimate 1 meter to be roughly 39"...

    Grattan has a whole bunch of turtles that migrate across the track down at the hairpin. I was following a big Ducati through there one day, saw his rear wheel just clip one of them at full lean. Shot that turtle about forty yards back toward the pond on the outside of the track. Majestic.
