Did you pay the heated seats bill?

Subscription models will explode in presence. Remember, according to the World Economic Forum, in the future you won’t own anything and you’ll be happier for it.

I've never had any heated seats that would appreciably warm without some weight on them. Kind of like tire warmers, the heat needs somewhere to go.

Likewise, for simply "hotwiring" your heated seats, you'd need to add some controller to manage temperature. I've had some early model heated seats that were terrible at that control. They'd constantly cycle between scalding and freezing. It was just super slow to respond.

 

It feels good to know that I'm not alone in the world.

You guys can fight it as long and as hard as you want, but the world's going that way with or without you....

 

Well shit...yep. I'd avoid it if someone else had a one time pay platform that was as good. It took about 5 years or so until everyone I raced with moved to that platform for me to do it in protest. I'm still not happy about it when it comes time to renew.

 

They can go. I'm going away at some point anyway. I'd drop mobile services tomorrow and once I stop working I'd be fine without the internet as well. Think of all the good that would do for the beeb.

Didn't a version of this already happen in Massachuettes? It was under the title of "right to repair". Not exactly the same issue but close enough.

 

This is no great breaking news. It’s often a huge cost avoidance to over content some vehicles to keep tooling and validation costs down. Honda use to dominate this this philosophy followed close by Toyota. Mercedes’ and BMW are at the bottom of complexity reduction.

 

I find myself embracing this philosophy more and more every day.

 

Actually I'll be a man of my word. When this round is up I'll do just what I did to racing bikes. I'll go cold turkey full stop.

 

Did someone call you out on flexible principles and make you quit racing bikes?
