It’s cool to see Ed Sullivan on the list. I like Ed, he is a really good dude. If anyone doesn’t know him, that’s the Crew Chief for Westby Racing. He has raced WERA also. I’ve raced against him a good bit, dude is fast.
Flight booked. I'll be down there with a few other knuckleheads. EDIT: What's the pit vehicle situation at the track? Are scooters/dual sports allowed in the paddock/infield? Thanks.
I've never had an issue with anything at Daytona. Pit bikes, golf carts and plated vehicles have always been fine in the past.
Eslick confirmed on a GSXR https://www.roadracingworld.com/new...-makes-it-68-riders-so-far-for-march-14-race/
And Teagg Hobbs makes it 9 LRRS racers in the mix. I have a friend of mine from high school who is semi retired after 35 years as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. He has a place in Ormond Beach. It turns out that his cousin is Tim Ivanoff, owner of Thrashed Bike Racing. Max Flinders #88 is riding for him. In addition to my credentials, I have access to a camper that will be in the first camping spot along the fence at the exit of the International Horseshoe. Bubba Coon, my old drummer from the Golfbag Brothers Band, winters in South Daytona. We'll be catching a lot of bands on Main St. And of course there's Tiesa.....
Won't be there that often. I'll be in the paddock a lot snapping pics of the Loudon peeps for the LRRS Facebook page.
It won't work on me. It will be 35 years without on March 28. ("My doctor told me to quit smoking, and my lawyer told me to quit drinking.")
