Anyone have one? Any suggestions on brands/models to get or stay away from. I am wanting something for my work truck and possibly my personal truck also. I have had a few too many close calls that weren't my fault and I would like to be able to have video proof in case there are no other witnesses.
i have this. I use this for different reasons than you want to use yours, so for you I would suggest something with a wide angle. http://dash-camera.com/shop/1080p-v....html?osCsid=735d435feb517ae00f15578c13926042
Just installed the Cobra CDR-810 In my truck as a test for the work trucks. Too early to give a complete review but it's working as expected. 1080P.
This is the one i run. http://www.ebay.com/itm/310752336819?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 1080P, very good pic quality, shock sensor so in a crash event it will save and protect that video from accidental erasure. Just google G1W video to see the picture quality. I have a video of an MDX spinning out infront of me but i dont wanna get banned for posting it. Youtube search "MDX looses control", its the first video
I've used a BlackVue for a road data project and I was impressed with the quality of the picture and the ease of use of the included application. This was the one I used http://www.amazon.com/BlackVue-DR400G-HD-Recorder-Worldwide-Express/dp/B00681UKFU but the updated ones look really good, too. http://www.blackvue.com/en/main/main.asp
