I think they meant in the 60's as in somewhere between 60-69, but yeah, seemed like lung function was deteriorating as it was mid-70's last night. This was with a finger sensor from the drug store so take that for what you will. I know that when my daughter was in the hospital with a respiratory issue, they were very concerned in the 90-92% range and wouldn't let her go home until the albuterol treatments were spaced out and the level was 95% or greater.

 

I’ll take your suggestions under advisement.

SpO2 is different than SaO2.

 

And still no proof provided that the covid-19 virus wasn’t spread to the U.S. in December 2019 time frame, or even prior.

The pulse oximeters they sell at the drugstore are pretty reliable; if you buy one just take it to your next doctor's appt and
check it against theirs. They're what all of the nurses are using these days, just don't buy one for $9.99. I've used mine while
walking or riding my bike to see how well my breathing is oxygenating my blood.

 

Yeah anything under 95% is a cause for concern

Well, 'not good' is relative. Their death rate (per capita) is twice as high as neighbouring countries, but is it the right compromise for a functioning society? We'll see.

Sweden has 800 C-19 deaths for a population of 10 million.

Norway has 100 deaths but 1/2 the population of Sweden.
