Chock one up for the old dudes. Helio Castroneves won his 4th Indy 500 and climbed the fence like he was 22 again. The place was electric and it seemed everyone in attendance, whether fan or team member, was ecstatic. He's getting up there in years, but the first 5 time winner may be upon us soon.
I was there too, perfect weather, perfect winner for the "return" of the 500. You could tell fans were excited to be back and really other than no fans in the infield, the crowd/traffic seemed like most other years.
Anything above 40 is an old dude in the world of professional racing. He won the 24 hours of Daytona this year too, so clearly he's got some fight left in him.
