Anybody know which banks still have the coin counters in the lobby? TD used to have them and it was free for account holders. I don't want to pay 10% at publix to use their machine.
Check with your bank(s). A while back they were talking about giving extra money to try and get coins back in stock.
I always get an Amazon gc. Verify what options are available at the machine you use. For example, Amazon gc is not available from machines located at a Walmart.
the machine at the local bi-lo has a fee for cash value but no fee towards an amazon gift card (maybe others too, wasn't interested in options)
I bought the royal sovereign coin sorter off amazon for my spare change, coins drop right into a sleeve. My bank gives me the paper sleeves for the sorter anytime I need them. Easy peasy. I think Dateline NBC did a story about the coinstar machines ripping customers off.
Coin star always shorted my normally $600 tub down do just above 400. After 2nd time I learned my lesson. I can hand roll on a rainy Saturday with a half case of beer and some music going.
What kind of strip club you operating that accumulates that much change? Must be really Hiiiiigh class.
You know that really work the more I think about it. If you give away all your dollar bills, what do you use to blow off the strippers ass? You cant roll up a Sacagawea dollar coin. SO bring a handful of those to the club and keep the dollars for doing lines. perfect.
I broke one once at Publix, turns out they don't work well with lots of random foreign change mixed in. It broke about 1/2 way through a gallon of change and had to manually scoop out the rest with the manager in all the nooks and crevices
