What’s the best way to remove smudges, dirt, etc. from Ti end cans?
I recently got a set of Ti cans for my FJR and I’d like to make them look brand new, if possible.

  2. The only viable option is a new bike with a new exhaust installed.

Tried that; no luck. Thinking of getting the whole thing ceramic coated.

Do you have a rotary scotchbrite ball / pad? I had a badly stained Ti exhaust and it looked like new after a little scrubbing.

That's all I did with the Akra titanium exhaust I bought off a member here. End can had a lot of staining, heel marks from boots, and some surface scratches.

I think I used a grey scotchbrite pad, some WD40 to keep it lubed, and made sure to maintain a directional pattern. Basically looked brand new afterwards. Finished it off with a new metallic Akra decal.
