If the precipitating event was, as reported, the harassment of an older woman by a veritable pack of juveniles, I doubt that we see a conviction here. The DA may even decline to prosecute after reviewing the evidence.

The little girl got the worst of it because she earned it by her own choice. If this was a simple "one on one" fight I would absolutely agree, dude should be thrown in jail. This isn't remotely the case.

As a kid, your parents told you not to touch the stove because it's hot. As stupid kids, we touched the stove. Lesson learned. This is no different.

And if the stupid bitch wins, it just reinforcing that the behavior is acceptable. :(

Meh, at least we won’t see a few of these little hoodlums causing any more havoc towards the general population. If nothing else, they’ll at least think twice. I’m more disappointed in the fact that none of the others stepped up and had a chance to receive a right cross or upper cut. Opportunity missed for teaching some additional lessons.

Some people live in the real world and some live in a fantasy land. Well, more and more live in a fantasy land as is obvious by people thinking a pack of thug children can't end your day. Again, for those of you that are saying it was an over-reaction, please Google 11yo, 12yo, 13yo commits murder. You won't, because that will immediately prove what children are capable of.

Btw, watching the video and seeing the guy actually punch her, that was about a 50% punch. The shove was 100%. The difference is easily noticeable.

Oh, my daughter which grew up in a school where daily fights occured agreed she had it coming.

That even brings me to another fun memory. In ELEMENTARY SCHOOL a mental child caused the entire school to go on lockdown. He started throwing tables and chairs at the teacher. She tried to restrain him and he not only broke free but bit the hell out of her, had to go to the hospital. The only option was to lock him in the room and wait for the cops. He wrecked the entire room. Took 3 cops to subdue him. But hey, if a 9yo can do that, an 11yo can't do anything to anyone. Haha

Another aspect to consider: maybe I missed it, but I don’t recall the guy checking ID’s prior to the pushing and shoving. It’s likeky he assumed the girl was much older, you know, since she was ACTING like a much older person.

Preceding events absolutely matter. One of the many reasons for juvenile crime is the belief that they are not accountable for their actions. Assuming the preceding events were as I've seen recounted, these little snowflakes were guilty of assault at the very least. At one time I might have agreed with you, but this is not the world as it was when I was young.

Or older. I live near a middle school, driving past it most days (and the cross country team runs in the park I walk my dogs in. The kids are 11-13, with the odd older kid that's been held back a time or two being 14-15. I swear sometimes it seems like it's a high school. I've seen kids that are 6ft tall, kids that are pushing 300lbs, kids with full beards, and on occasion, girls that have made me feel like I should be talking to Chris Hansen:eek:

A few years ago our local mall began a policy that any kid under a certain age (I think it's 16, but it may be a little younger) could not be in the mall without a parent/guardian escort. It had gotten really bad, with real shoppers completely avoiding the place on the weekends because it was a total madhouse with gangs of adolescents roaming around, shoplifting, fighting, and generally acting like animals. Yes, they spent some money, but they caused a LOT of damage and ran off way more business than they provided.

Mayfield Mall near where I used to live in WI brought about a similar policy years ago due to issues of gang of kids roaming the place. It looks like they updating it to account for the kids being out of school over winter break.

Shoppers who are under 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays after 3:00 PM. Effective December 26th through January 1st of 2019, Parental/Adult Guidance will be Required after 3:00 PM each day.

Can you please use the red highlighter to show me where the Lethal Force touched you (or anyone associated in this video).
I am not sure you know the definition. It is also called DEADLY force. or enough to cause SERIOUS bodily harm. Getting K.Oed is not serious bodily harm.

Malls want to save themselves, they should require adult supervision for all minors at all times anytime they are open.

OK, you live in my area of WI too. I 'member when the whole mall basically went on lockdown 'cause of thug kids out of school, something about a group event that was the result of Social media? This incident was many years ago, as in 4-7 yrs ago?

Face it folks, we ALL know this is DT's fault! He rhetoric instigated the whole thing. ;-)
