I just watched it. Those two were (rightfully) seething.

 

The cool thing about this is that now if someone does corner Smollett and beat his ass everyone will know it is not because of the color of his skin. It will be because he is an asshole and deserves it.

Why would anyone expect the community, legal system or the political machine to hold anyone accountable. Pretty much been the liberal Democrats game forever. It just hit a little closer to their home this time. When you have the highest or one of the highest murder rates for decades and nothing changes, is anyone actually surprised by this.
