Is it bad I couldn't find Nicky because he was too high up the standings. I started at 19 and worked up. Only .5 second off Stoner, go Nicky!
Maybe Nicky's finally on the right track with the bike setup. Way too early to tell but I sure hope so, his team could definitely use a morale boost after the luck they've been having this year.
Cheers, bwhip. Welcome to the 19th rider on the premier class grid, Gabor Talmacsi! http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2009/Talmacsi+joins+MotoGP+ranks+at+round+six -jim
nicky looked pretty good, the announcers kept commenting on how he was sliding the rear all over the place. he certainly looked happy when he got back in the pits and took his helmet off. hopefully he can keep it up all weekend. stoner ended up binning it towards the end of the session, but he's ok.
Nice. Glad to see Ducati taking radical steps to get him comfortable on the bike. Seems like he's happy with it so far so I hope it only gets better!
All the Ducati riders have new electronics except for Stoner. Random news: HRC is prepared to supply bikes for eight riders next year.
