So I know there are multiple variables, but what are y’all paying? I have GEICO for personal. F250 and Mommyvan. I don’t have wrecks or other shit on my license. Some speeding shit tickets like 10-15 years ago. $500 per month seems like legalized rape to me. I called and told them wtf and they said that it’s a shared risk and they couldn’t do anything g even after threatening to shop around. I’ve had one claim in the last maybe 3-5 years which also wasn’t my fault. Who are y’all using and am I blowing this out of proportion or is that a fair rate? this is something I’ve never even really looked at just paid it and shut up.
Shop it every year. They all play the same stupid game. If you'll sit still and pay they do nothing. If you move every year they can see that in their shared databases. Ultimately...Florida.
Oh yea she did say “location” has a lot to do with it. she said I live on the water. Then had no explanation when I told her it takes me 20-30 minutes to drive to water. guess I’ll be shopping around!
My brother is a Farmers agent in PA. He recently told me they have bought another insurer that has some of the best auto rates around for now. He's telling me he can win against almost all other insurers. You might want to shop around, and give your local Framer's agent a call for a quote.
We went to a broker last year to have them shop all our stuff. Ended up at Farmers for home and auto. Cheaper with better coverage and limits than State Farm.
Wow. Holy balls! All insurers are thieves without masks. They see what your earning potential is and they go off of that. Tell them you make $15 an hour.
how does that work? good credit, low insurance or good credit means they can afford to pay higher? I haven’t heard that. Not saying it doesn’t happen but I have not heard that.
Scam city... Auto insurance is the bank that takes ALL deposits and gives ZERO withdrawals. They lobbied for NO-FAULT so when a payout is due ALL rates go up and the populace absorbs what the vermin refuses to pay out.
It’s because of Florida, some of the highest rates in the country. When I was there was paying ~$2500 every 6 months for 2 vehicles. Moved back to PA, paying ~$1100/year.
The only offenses that are considered in insurance rates are vehicular moving violations, DUIs and accidents involving death or serious injury.
Damn man they are raping you!! I have a 2016 GMC 3500 Denali and it’s like 65/month with State Farm. Also have my homeowners insurance with them. I’m in WV so that could make a difference too.
