We had two full days in court. I presented very precise particulars to substantiate my damages and the judge wants time to review 5 hours of testimony and numerous exhibits.

The judge is going to make a decision if to award damages and how much within 30 days.

You know, i found it interesting when MJ was brought up that the defendant didnt use that as an explanation or an "out".

I guess it wasnt such a swindle job since the transcripts will be available to the public and he didnt want to possibly purger himself in a slander suit if MJ decided to go after him, too.

 

To think, all thiscould have been avoided if the seller was honest from the start.

Then he could have saved face by accepting fault early in and made it right.

Now I just hope he has to pay back full price plus legal fees and some pain in the ass fees.

 

Yes purging is pretty debilitating, perhaps he did not want to commit perjury.

Good on you Jon. Sorry you had to go through this, but at least you were able to follow through. I wish I had the funds and the mindset to seek damages for parties who have screwed me over in this business. At least you'll have some resolution and a best of thread on the beeb haha!
