why not use a gyro, that is moving freely, but has 3 axis lockup or better: control... let the ecu determine the theoretical trajectory based on lean, steering angle and suspension compression, then in case the parameters slip out of the hull curve / map, counteract the direction on the 3-axis suspension of the gyro.
Harley needs to get involved with this ASAP...that way the bike can help there customer base "couldnt stop so i had to lay'er down"... Just think of the cool chrome skull button cover they could sell for like $279.99 to cover your thruster activated 'lay'er down' button...
